The analysis laboratory offers chemical analyzes of plastics with regard to polymer type, additive and filler content, fiber content, moisture, viscosity and various other parameters according to current standards.
Other services include examining the aging and boiling range of lubricating greases, quantifying plasticizers and pollutants in plastics and determining organic contamination.
Range of services: differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), energy dispersive, X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), pyrolysis GC/MS, dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), Vicat softening point, gel permeation chromatography ( GPS).
Investigation of the influence of processing conditions, effects of additives, aging effects, decomposition effects, damage analyzes and purity determinations.
Statements can be made about product quality and whether a product is within specification. FTIR spectroscopy can also be used to analyze microscopic samples such as particles, inclusions and fibers.
Changes in mass of a sample as a function of temperature and time.
Conclusions about the material composition and filler content, e.g. carbon fibres, glass fibres, soot or chalk.
Separation method for ionic species, the separation of which is based on the interaction between a liquid mobile and a solid stationary phase.
