Determination of tensile properties according to DIN EN ISO 527-2

Method for investigating the tensile deformation behaviour of specimens and determining the tensile strength, tensile modulus and tensile stress/strain relationship for the following materials:
– rigid and semi-rigid injection moulding, extrusion and casting compounds
– rigid and semi-rigid thermoset injection moulding and casting compounds
– thermotropic liquid crystalline plastics
The test is carried out on specimens which are either moulded to the required dimensions or made of plates. The multipurpose specimen according to DIN EN ISO 20753:2019-02 is preferred.
