The GWP plastics laboratory carries out fire tests or fire tests with which the flammability, fire behavior, heat resistance and much more. can be determined.
The tests are mainly carried out according to national and international standards, but we also develop customer-specific tests and combine them with other stresses. For example, we determine strength values on CFRP tanks with simultaneous exposure to flames.
Our fire chambers according to DIN 75200, FMVSS 302, UL94 and many more. are particularly suitable for classifying the combustibility of plastics and for determining the burning rate of components.
