Laboratory weathering using xenon arc appliance ASTM G155

This standard covers the basic principles and operating procedures for the use of xenon arc and weathering equipment intended to reproduce the weathering effects that occur when materials in actual use are exposed to sunlight (either directly or through window glass) and moisture as rain or dew. This standard is limited to the procedures for obtaining, measuring and controlling exposure conditions. A number of exposure procedures are given in the annex. However, this standard does not specify the exposure conditions that are most appropriate for the material being tested.
