Colour fastness tests – Colour fastness to rubbing according to DIN EN ISO 105-X12

Test method for determining the resistance of the colour of textiles of all types, including textile floor coverings and other pile fabrics, to abrasion and bleeding by other materials.
The method applies to textiles made of all fibres in the form of yarns or fabrics, including textile floor coverings, whether dyed or printed. The test is also used in practice in the automotive interior on other surfaces.
