Condensation water test according to DIN EN ISO 6270-2

Procedure for conditioning prepared specimens to be examined for damage that may occur in humid environments such as constant condensation water climates or alternating condensation water climates. The test is used to clarify the behaviour of the specimens in humid environmental climates and to accurately detect defects in corrosion protection. However, the stress in these test climates does not necessarily allow statements to be made about the service life of the tested coatings. After conditioning, the specimens are assessed either according to agreed documents, such as the relevant part(s) of ISO 4628, or according to procedures agreed between the contracting parties.
